LITTLE OLD LADIES IN TENNIS SHOES Aug. 28, 29, 30, Sept. 4, 5
Comedy by Sandra Fenichel Asher
Kate Corrigan has her life in order, or so she likes to think. She has a lucrative job, a no strings-attached man, and a new house in the suburbs. Kate develops a roller-coaster friendship with Molly, Molly’s grandson, and a number of elderly women who live in the neighborhood. She soon comes to realize these women are living in quirky isolation after outliving their husbands' and their families' need for them. Confronted with old fears and new choices, Kate realizes the life she is living is the very one she has been running from. "A sensitive comedy about friendship between generations," said the Stanford Mail. "Full of wit and laughter...warmth and wisdom," echoed the Sierra Madre News. "L'chaim!" say Kate and Molly.
